3rd Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• CSM Indonesia is seeking self-driven and talented seafarers to join the expanding and varied fleet of Columbia Shipmanagement.

• Responsible for operating and maintaining auxiliary engines, boilers, and various fuel systems machinery.

• Oversee engine room watchkeeping and other tasks assigned by the Chief Engineer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Accountable for the operation and upkeep of auxiliary engines, boilers, and other fuel systems machinery.

• Responsible for engine room watchkeeping and additional duties as directed by the Chief Engineer.

• Possession of a valid Certificate of Competency (COC) in accordance with STCW Reg III/1.

• Strong communication abilities with proficiency in English.

• Experience in a multicultural work environment.

• A safety-oriented mindset and culture.

• Minimum experience required: 6 months in the same rank on a similar type of vessel.

• Experience in trading areas such as the USA and Australia is preferred.
