This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead initiatives to design, innovate, and implement solutions that enhance pharmacy systems and processes.
• Advocate for customers by understanding pharmacy business needs and identifying opportunities for improvement and productivity.
• Manage enterprise relationships and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to facilitate optimal solutions.
• Maintain a deep understanding of database structures and business intelligence tools to create effective analytical solutions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for pharmacy data analytics and process enhancement.
• Conduct data analysis and develop queries, programs, and automation.
• Ensure the accuracy and relevance of reported data through analytical methods.
• Utilize Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite, SAP products, and other tools for data analytics.
• Assess pharmacy analytic tools and practices to improve or automate processes.
• Maintain and leverage a pharmacy database for intricate drug purchase and utilization analysis.
• Lead the gathering of data requirements, problem identification, resolution, and solution design.
• Provide analytical insights that drive strategic business decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and pharmacy customer-related tasks.
• Identify, document, and escalate project issues, barriers, risks, and changes in scope.
• Implement project modifications in accordance with change-control policies and procedures.
• Communicate the nature, significance, and risks of projects to stakeholders.
• Participate in post-implementation project evaluations.
• Gather customer requirements and convert business needs into actionable solutions.
• Maintain and test tracking software and system databases.
• Update databases for drug formulary and product specification changes.
• Ensure system integrity is safeguarded.
• Support departmental goals, objectives, productivity initiatives, meetings, committees, task forces, and projects.
• Provide drug usage information, identify spending irregularities, and recommend alternative products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Hospital Administration, or a related field.
• Two (2) years of experience in pharmacy or data analytics.
• Two (2) years of experience working with relational database structures, including design, testing, troubleshooting, and/or training.
• Two (2) years of experience in data analysis and/or healthcare planning, preferably in Pharmacy.
• Two (2) years of experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports.
• Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL/Oracle) and/or Business Objects.
• EPIC official designation of “Proficient” within the new hire probationary period.
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
• Capability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to engage with multi-disciplinary groups and facilitate meetings.
• Strong reading and comprehension skills.
• Proficient typing skills.
• Ability to read and write legibly in English.
• Good oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Independent decision-making skills.
