Zone Installation Specialist – Medical Imaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge and execute installation procedures for medical imaging equipment.

• Build strong relationships with customers and deliver exceptional installation and service.

• Quickly identify and address customer concerns with a sense of urgency.

• Work with at least one medical imaging modality, with the potential for multiple modalities.

• Stay informed about technological advancements and industry developments.

• Pursue both formal and informal training opportunities.

• Implement best practices and manage personal scheduling effectively.

• Support team members when necessary.

• Complete timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventative maintenance, installation documentation, and site and service records.

• Travel extensively to customer and supplier sites across the Midwest Zone.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a diagnostic imaging field or service environment in a hospital, or over 3 years in electromechanical industries.

• Preferred experience with Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment.

• Capability to comprehend and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking principles to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.

• Familiarity with essential tools and testing equipment.

• Associate Degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to work in an office, home office, or remote setting, as well as in a hospital or healthcare environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 100% via car, air, train, or bus.

• Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.

• Capability to safely handle radiation sources and/or radioactive materials while using the required personal protective equipment.

• US work authorization is necessary; no current or future visa sponsorship will be provided.

• Must live in or within commuting distance of the Midwest Zone: IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, SD, or WI.
