This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska, +1 more state.
• Propel business expansion by researching, identifying, and securing new employer group and supplemental insurance opportunities.
• Foster strong client relationships post-sale, ensuring that all clients experience a seamless, efficient, and rewarding product for their groups.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies and other initiatives aimed at supporting the growth and success of the business unit.
• Establish and leverage a network of contacts and resources through a consultative selling approach to cultivate, develop, and monetize broker relationships.
• Manage time and work output to guarantee that sales targets and related activity metrics are met.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure the successful onboarding of new business using various enrollment technology platforms.
• Address any issues related to the setup of billing or remittance parameters established in the policy administration system.
• Engage and provide insights in meetings related to account management, re-enrollment strategies, and administrative structures.
• Ensure all required group documentation, including agent contracting, is completed and accurately entered into systems before enrollment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Three (3) years of experience in employee benefit sales or client-facing roles.
• Active resident L&H licensing in good standing.
• Demonstrated history of excellent customer relations and problem-solving abilities – capable of positively engaging with all levels of personnel, vendors, and clients.
• Self-driven – you are a “go-getter,” and minor obstacles do not deter you from reaching your goals.
• Results-focused – you have a proven history of setting, achieving, and surpassing production objectives.
• Strong communication skills – you are an attentive listener, can articulate your thoughts clearly, and possess persuasive abilities.
• Organized – you efficiently prioritize tasks to maximize your efforts and maintain effective time management.
• Proficient with computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Contact Management Systems.
• Practical, articulate, and innovative with the capability to resolve challenging business issues.
• Highly developed organizational, verbal, and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Must be comfortable navigating multiple onboarding and administrative systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating leadership qualities, without necessarily being in a formal leadership role.
• Familiarity with industry resources, group product quoting protocols, and existing broker relationships.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily within the continental US, to achieve sales performance objectives.
