Working Student Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Identify, assess, implement, and roll out software solutions for essential customer-facing products.

• Enhance and sustain critical business applications.

• Derive actionable requirements from intricate and ambiguous business challenges.

• Promote innovation driven by experimentation within the team.

• Elevate developer experience and customer satisfaction by minimizing technical debt, automating processes, documenting decisions, enhancing quality, and creating user-friendly software.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers.

• Engage with relevant backend, frontend, mobile, cloud, observability, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a German university for at least two additional semesters.

• Pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field.

• Available to work 20 hours weekly.

• Some experience in writing maintainable, self-describing, reusable, and testable code using TypeScript and other backend or full-stack technologies.

• Fundamental understanding of designing and maintaining RESTful APIs.

• Agile and results-focused mindset.

• Enthusiasm for supporting the team.

• Innovative and passionate approach to new challenges.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• Proficiency in German is a plus.

• Residency in Germany is required.

• Experience in the energy sector is advantageous.

• Start-up experience is a plus.
