This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Offer legal assistance for the ongoing enhancement of NYALA’s product lineup.

• Execute regulatory requirements and liaise with regulatory bodies.

• Implement and further refine the legal framework in accordance with the German Electronic Securities Act (eWpG), the German Electronic Securities Regulation (eWpRV), the German Banking Act (KWG), and the German Anti-Money Laundering Act (GwG).

• Keep track of and support current legislative changes.

• Participate in discussions and consultations regarding the advancement of legislation related to blockchain technology.

• Deliver direct operational aid to the Money Laundering Prevention, Compliance, and Risk Officers in their daily activities.

• Prepare factual information for decision-making processes.

• Oversee deadlines, measures, and follow-up actions.

• Create templates for reports directed to the company's responsible officers.

• Maintain key performance indicators and conduct analyses.

• Revise policies, manuals, and work instructions.

• Assist with annual financial statement audits and special audits.

• Enthusiasm for technology, especially DLT, and capital markets legal issues.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Consistent reliability in meeting deadlines.

• Capacity to clearly and concisely summarize complex issues in writing.

• Discretion in managing customer and company information.

• Business-fluent German for communication with regulatory authorities and for regulatory reporting.

• Proficiency in English for correspondence with international clients and for interpreting legal documents is advantageous.

• In-depth prior knowledge of eWpG, GwG, and KWG is not mandatory.

• Enrollment as a working student is required, as specified by the position title and type of employment.
