
Workforce Benefits Sales Consultant – Broker Distribution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of a strategy for Broker Distribution aimed at achieving new sales, retention, profitability, and expense goals.
• Achieve annual sales targets as outlined by the Sales Leadership team.
• Collaborate with Workforce Benefits Distribution resources to effectively communicate the Workforce Benefits narrative to the broker community.
• Continuously enhance, fortify, and expand broker relationships.
• Conduct the required number of broker meetings each week with assigned brokers.
• Generate an appropriate volume of RFPs each month.
• Cultivate and enhance local broker partnerships to boost sales and elevate the Pacific Life brand within your market.
• Exhibit expertise in the group products offered by Pacific Life.
• Maintain strong connections with the underwriting, product, pricing, regulatory compliance, and actuarial pricing teams to ensure alignment on key deliverables with your broker relationships.
• Leverage established and innovative strategies, tools, and partners to facilitate efficient, intentional, and substantial growth objectives.
• Adopt a customer-first approach: prioritize the perspectives of customers and brokers in decision-making.
• Engage in ongoing industry and community initiatives to remain informed about industry trends.
• Represent the company as necessary at legislative platforms, industry events, and community activities.
• Undertake additional job-related duties or special projects as necessary.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in group benefits sales with a well-established presence in the broker marketplace.
• A college degree focusing on business management, finance, or risk management, or equivalent work experience is essential.
• A propensity to seek and analyze data from various sources to support decision-making and align others with the organization's overall strategy.
