
Workforce Benefits Sales Consultant – Broker Distribution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist in the development and implementation of a Broker Distribution strategy aimed at achieving new sales, retention, profitability, and expense goals.
• Achieve annual sales targets as defined by Sales Leadership.
• Collaborate with Workforce Benefits Distribution resources to convey the Workforce Benefits narrative to the broker community.
• Consistently work to enhance, strengthen, and expand broker relationships.
• Conduct a designated number of broker meetings weekly with assigned brokers.
• Generate a suitable pipeline of RFPs each month.
• Cultivate and develop local broker partnerships to boost sales and elevate the Pacific Life brand within your market.
• Exhibit expertise in the group products offered by Pacific Life.
• Maintain robust connections with underwriting, product, pricing, regulatory compliance, and actuarial pricing teams to ensure alignment on essential deliverables related to broker relationships.
• Leverage established and innovative methods, tools, and partnerships to facilitate efficient, intentional, and substantial growth objectives.
• Adopt a customer-first approach: prioritize the perspectives of customers and brokers in decision-making processes.
• Engage in ongoing industry and community activities to remain informed about industry trends.
• Represent the company as necessary in legislative platforms, industry events, and community activities.
• Perform other job-related responsibilities or special projects as needed.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in group benefits sales with a strong presence in the broker marketplace.
• A college degree focusing on business management, finance, or risk management, or equivalent professional experience is required.
• A tendency to seek and evaluate data from diverse sources to support decisions and align others with the organization’s overall strategy.
