
Workforce Benefits Sales Consultant – Broker Distribution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Assist in the development and implementation of a Broker Distribution strategy aimed at achieving new sales, retention, profitability, and expense targets.
• Achieve annual sales targets as set forth by the Sales Leadership team.
• Collaborate with Workforce Benefits Distribution resources to effectively communicate the Workforce Benefits narrative to the broker community.
• Continuously enhance and expand broker relationships.
• Conduct the necessary number of broker meetings each week with designated brokers.
• Generate a consistent pipeline of RFPs each month.
• Cultivate and strengthen local broker connections to boost sales and elevate the Pacific Life brand in your region.
• Exhibit expertise in the group products offered by Pacific Life.
• Maintain robust connections with underwriting, product, pricing, regulatory compliance, and actuarial pricing teams to ensure alignment on essential deliverables with broker partnerships.
• Leverage established and innovative strategies, tools, and partnerships to facilitate efficient and purposeful growth objectives.
• Adopt a customer-first perspective by prioritizing the needs and viewpoints of customers and brokers in decision-making processes.
• Engage in ongoing industry and community initiatives to remain informed about industry trends.
• Represent the company as necessary at legislative platforms, industry events, and community activities.
• Execute other job-related responsibilities or special projects as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in group benefits sales with a well-established presence in the broker marketplace.
• A college degree focusing on business management, finance, or risk management, or equivalent work experience is mandatory.
• A strong inclination to seek and analyze data from diverse sources to support decision-making and align others with the organization's overarching strategy.
