Workflow Deployment, ServiceNow Adjunct Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Available to instruct synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams every Monday and Tuesday.

• Strategically plan and organize lessons to enhance virtual student engagement and learning.

• Adjust instructional methods and strategies as needed to accommodate diverse student needs.

• Utilize effective teaching and learning strategies to convey subject matter to students.

• Collaborate with colleagues, participate in meetings, and engage in academic initiatives aimed at improving the overall program.

• Stay updated in their subject area through professional development, active participation in professional organizations, and attending relevant meetings, conferences, or workshops.

• Remain informed about advancements and best practices in adult education and instructional design, engaging in workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and integrate innovative techniques into virtual course delivery.

• Design, revise, and align course materials with college standards for adult learners.

• Create hands-on labs, assessments, and other course materials while assessing their effectiveness.

• Develop and maintain course shells and templates, including syllabi, exams, discussions, assignments, and assessments.

• Choose instructional materials that align with course objectives.

• Review course materials for accuracy and relevance, offering suggestions for enhancements.

• Foster collaboration with other staff members and take part in the implementation of new projects and ideas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (mandatory).

• Preferred degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Organizational Management, or related fields in Technology and/or Business Administration.

• Official transcripts of the bachelor's degree are required.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience with ServiceNow, or two years of ServiceNow administration experience coupled with one year of IT Service Management experience.

• Preferred industry certifications include, but are not limited to, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ServiceNow Application Specialist, ServiceNow Systems Administrator, or ServiceNow Implementor.

• Prior experience in curriculum development and instructional design for college-level courses is preferred.

• Preferred familiarity with Canvas, Moodle, Cornerstone, Blackboard, Saba, Chamilo, or iSpring.

• Proven expertise and knowledge in utilizing the functions and features of the ServiceNow platform.

• Demonstrated understanding of ServiceNow principles and best practices.

• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, academic departments, and administration to promote student success, achieve institutional goals, and contribute to a positive and inclusive culture.
