This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Deliver enhancements, configurations, and backlog items for ServiceNow in alignment with sprint priorities and business goals.
• Design and create custom REST API integrations with external systems, ensuring compliance with the platform architecture.
• Implement AI-driven development practices while utilizing the ServiceNow AI stack, including Now Assist and Predictive Intelligence, to enhance solution quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Solution Architect and stakeholders to develop scalable, best-practice ServiceNow solutions.
• Utilize automation principles to boost speed, quality, and efficiency of delivery across the backlog.
• Support sprint execution by engaging in development, peer reviews, testing, deployment preparation, and continuous improvement of the platform.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies such as planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to technical documentation, facilitate knowledge transfer, and ensure compliance with the Team Working Agreement.
• Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews for Senior Developers, acting as a point of escalation for complex development issues.
• Take responsibility for complex integrations and high-priority backlog items that necessitate architectural alignment.
• 9–12 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
• 6–9 years of ServiceNow development experience for Senior Developer roles.
• Proficient in hands-on development within ServiceNow, covering Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and REST API integrations.
• Strong understanding of ITSM module configuration and platform governance principles.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery teams, utilizing Jira or similar tools.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced ServiceNow features such as Now Assist and Predictive Intelligence.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in complex, customized environments.
• Experience with both ITSM and CSM modules is preferred as future engagement may extend to CSM.
• Previous exposure to large enterprise or regulated industry environments (healthcare, medical devices, or similar).
• Possession of ServiceNow micro-certifications or badges in AI, Now Assist, or automation features.
• Certified System Administrator (CSA) — Required.
• Certified Application Developer (CAD) — Required.
• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) — ITSM — Preferred.
• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) — CSM — Advantageous.
