This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop the solution architecture, technical standards, and governance for the ServiceNow platform.
• Assess and comprehend existing platform customizations, integrations, and architectural choices during the onboarding process.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to offer enhancement suggestions and convert business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Ensure that all team configurations, scripts, and integrations comply with ServiceNow best practices and align with the overall platform architecture.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to Lead and Senior Application Developers.
• Define and uphold technical specifications within Agile user stories to direct development initiatives.
• Partner with internal platform owners and architects to guarantee smooth integration with their current model.
• Advocate for the implementation of AI-enabled development practices, including Now Assist and Predictive Intelligence.
• Assist in the formation of a Team Working Agreement, contributing to definitions of done, change control processes, and technical handoff standards.
• Offer technical leadership during sprint ceremonies and help in the development of performance measurement frameworks (e.g., story points, throughput).
• Over 12 years of experience in enterprise IT, with a minimum of 7 years as a hands-on ServiceNow architect or senior technical lead.
• Demonstrated ability to design intricate ServiceNow solutions across ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management.
• Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow platform governance, configuration best practices, and technical design documentation.
• Experience in integrating ServiceNow with external systems using custom REST APIs.
• Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities; capable of confidently engaging with enterprise-level clients.
• Familiarity with the ServiceNow AI stack, including Now Assist and Predictive Intelligence.
• Previous experience in large, regulated sectors (healthcare, medical devices, or similar) is preferred.
• Exposure to the CSM (Customer Service Management) module in preparation for potential future project phases.
• Experience with Jira in conjunction with ServiceNow in hybrid Agile project settings.
• Micro-certifications or badges related to ServiceNow AI/Now Assist features.
• Certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) — ITSM, Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) — CSM — Advantageous, Certified Technical Architect (CTA) — Advantageous.
