Workflow Deployment, ServiceNow Adjunct Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Available to instruct synchronous online classes via Microsoft Teams every Monday and Tuesday.

• Strategically plan and organize educational activities to enhance virtual student learning and engagement.

• Adapt instructional methods and strategies as necessary to accommodate diverse student needs.

• Utilize effective teaching and learning techniques to convey subject matter to students.

• Collaborate with peers, participate in meetings, and engage in academic initiatives aimed at overall program enhancement.

• Remain up-to-date in their subject area through professional development, active participation in professional organizations, and attendance at meetings, conferences, or workshops.

• Stay informed about advancements and best practices in adult education and instructional design, participating in relevant workshops, conferences, and training sessions to refine teaching skills and integrate innovative methods into virtual course delivery.

• Create, update, and align course materials with college standards tailored for adult learners.

• Develop practical labs, assessments, and other educational resources while assessing their effectiveness.

• Construct and maintain course shells and templates, which include syllabi, exams, discussions, assignments, and assessments.

• Choose instructional materials that align with course objectives.

• Evaluate course materials for accuracy and relevance, suggesting improvements when necessary.

• Foster collaboration with fellow staff members and engage in the rollout of new projects and ideas.

• Comply with CIAT's business casual dress code.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• A preferred degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Organizational Management, or related fields within Technology and/or Business Administration.

• Official transcripts of the bachelor's degree must be submitted.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience with ServiceNow or two years of ServiceNow administration experience coupled with one year of IT Service Management experience is required.

• Preferred industry certifications include, but are not limited to, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ServiceNow Application Specialist, ServiceNow Systems Administrator, or ServiceNow Implementor.

• Previous experience in curriculum development and instructional design for college-level courses is preferred.

• Experience with platforms such as Canvas, Moodle, Cornerstone, Blackboard, Saba, Chamilo, or iSpring is preferred.

• Proven knowledge and expertise in utilizing the functions and features of the ServiceNow platform.

• Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of ServiceNow principles and best practices.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues, academic departments, and administration to promote student success, achieve institutional goals, and contribute to a positive and inclusive culture.
