Workers Compensation Recovery Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct follow-up calls regarding invoices, along with some email correspondence on outstanding balances from policyholders.

• Address inquiries and resolve issues associated with current or previous billing.

• Engage and negotiate with responsible parties, attorneys, and insurance carriers through phone and email to settle claims with payment.

• Find contact information via manual skip tracing, internet searches, and examination of claim documents.

• Create leads and initiate discussions through a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls.

• Oversee and prioritize a substantial volume of inventory while ensuring consistent follow-up.

• Use independent judgment to identify the most effective recovery strategies.

• Adhere to minimum account work standards established by management.

• Develop and track files towards prompt settlement by following up with third parties, insurance adjusters, and attorneys.

• Negotiate files to reach settlements within client authority and state regulations.

• Self-driven individual who excels in a dynamic environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient computer skills with a typing speed of 45 words per minute.

• Exceptional English communication and telephone skills.

• Strong interpersonal abilities with excellent organizational skills.

• Experience in collections or customer service via phone is preferred but not mandatory.

• Background in the insurance sector is advantageous but not essential.

• Bilingual candidates are highly favored.
