Workers Compensation Claims Examiner III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Oversees all facets of indemnity claims processing from start to finish

• Efficiently manages a caseload of 150 or fewer workers’ compensation cases

• Evaluates the compensability of claims and provides necessary benefits

• Supervises medical treatment and oversees medical billing

• Engages with claimants, providers, and vendors to address claims-related issues

• Negotiates and finalizes all claims settlements

• Maintains a diary system for case reviews and documents within the file

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)

• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience

• Required to possess an adjuster's license in Minnesota, Michigan & Indiana

• Strong technical knowledge of statutory regulations and medical terminology

• Excellent analytical skills

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred)
