Claims Examiner, Workers Compensation I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Evaluating and handling claims through well-structured action plans to achieve an appropriate and timely resolution by researching and collecting information to assess the claim's exposure.

• Facilitating the negotiation of claims settlements within the assigned authority limits.

• Informing claimants and clients about claim progress and processing activities.

• Submitting claims to the excess carrier and addressing requests for guidance in a professional and timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of claims management experience or an equivalent blend of education and experience is required.

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

• Knowledge of licensing and jurisdiction: California.
