Workday Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Business Application projects, primarily focusing on Workday and related applications.

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for Workday implementations, optimizations, and upgrades.

• Drive and lead solution development from initial conception through to deployment for all business applications.

• Manage changes and releases to Workday systems and processes, ensuring seamless transitions and user adoption.

• Oversee third-party vendor managed solutions such as PureOHS, Vizzia RTLS, Docusign, Smartsheet, and other business applications.

• Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with project objectives.

• Lead and supervise the creation and documentation of comprehensive business cases to evaluate costs, benefits, ROI, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for unique or complex solution proposals.

• Identify and mitigate project risks by developing contingency plans and escalating issues as necessary.

• Employ Agile methodologies and Scrum practices to facilitate project delivery, including leading ceremonies and coaching teams.

• Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project status, including progress reports, risk assessments, and budget updates.

• Ensure the quality of project deliverables through thorough testing, validation, and adherence to established standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 7 years of project management and vendor product management experience within a healthcare environment.

• Strong analytical skills.

• A proactive approach with a proven track record of owning and successfully delivering solutions across cross-functional domains.

• Extensive exposure to various healthcare-related products such as incident management, nursing systems, tracking systems, document management, and time management.

• Experience in management or technology consulting throughout the complete strategy-to-implementation project lifecycle.

• Demonstrated experience in project management, ideally with Workday and vendor-managed solutions.

• Strong understanding of the Workday platform, including HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Finance, and Supply Chain.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, vendor, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Jira, Smartsheet).

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to evolving priorities.

• Experience with change management and user training.

• Relevant certifications such as PMP are advantageous.
