
Workday, People Systems Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main liaison for all aspects related to Workday configuration, maintenance, and support.
• Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of systems across various Workday modules (such as Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, etc.).
• Oversee Workday releases, which includes conducting impact analysis, testing, and implementing new features and functionalities.
• Collaborate closely with People, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to convert business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Ensure the integrity, security, compliance, and audit readiness of all human resource systems.
• Manage integrations between Workday and other internal and external systems.
• Create and maintain documentation, processes, and governance standards for system usage and modifications.
• Enhance reporting and analytics capabilities within Workday to facilitate business insights and informed decision-making.
• Oversee vendors, consultants, and external partners as required.
• Offer technical direction and mentorship to junior HRIS or People Systems team members, without formal management responsibilities.
• Assess and utilize emerging technologies (including AI and automation) within Workday and the wider people systems ecosystem to enhance efficiency, data insights, and user experience.
• 8+ years of experience in HRIS / People Systems roles, with substantial expertise in Workday.
• Demonstrated experience in leading or significantly contributing to at least one full-cycle Workday implementation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Workday configuration across various modules.
• Experience in managing Workday releases and system upgrades.
• Profound understanding of HR processes and data structures.
• Experience with system integrations, APIs, and data architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in cross-functional and fast-paced work environments.
