Vice President – People & Culture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhancing hiring standards, evaluating candidates, and ensuring manager accountability throughout the recruitment process.

• Advancing performance discipline, aligning KPIs/OKRs, and ensuring proper calibration, documentation, and follow-up.

• Providing counsel to the CEO and executive team regarding organizational structure, leadership capabilities, workforce priorities, and company culture.

• Creating scalable systems, processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, training programs, and communication rhythms.

• Offering seasoned judgment on employee relations, corrective actions, workplace risks, legal matters, compensation, benefits, and compliance issues.

• Leading and nurturing the People & Culture team across various areas including People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, systems, documentation, and process support.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in People, Human Resources, Talent, or Organizational Effectiveness.

• Senior leadership experience in recruiting, performance management, employee relations, manager coaching, People operations, change implementation, and executive collaboration.

• Proven experience advising CEOs, founders, presidents, or executive teams on talent management, organizational design, managerial effectiveness, performance accountability, employee relations risk, leadership capability, and culture.

• Strong judgment in performance management, manager accountability, and employee relations.

• Preferred experience in scaling an organization from around 100 employees to several hundred employees.
