Workday Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Primarily accountable for guaranteeing the timely and high-quality execution of client deliverables while consulting on Workday projects.

• Maintains a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional interactions and their effects within the Workday system to effectively create solutions for intricate problems/projects across various domains or clients.

• Consults independently on complex initiatives and/or leads Medium Enterprise or Large Enterprise projects based on area(s) of expertise.

• Engages in client sales meetings as a Subject Matter Expert.

• Guides or participates in all phases of the project lifecycle with external clients and is involved in every stage of the Workday project lifecycle, from discovery sessions, planning, and design phases to business process configurations, testing, and deployment for the Workday Payroll, Absence, or Time Tracking application.

• Successfully executes medium to large client deliverables from initiation to completion across multiple, concurrent projects while adhering to Strada’s quality standards and consulting methodology.

• Manages self and work according to project scope, timeline, and budget.

• Coordinates with others as necessary.

• Attentively listens to client requests, offers subject matter expertise, suggests alternatives, and recommends solutions utilizing methodology and processes while remaining adaptable to the client's evolving needs.

• Regularly discusses and can convey to clients, lessons learned from past experiences, Workday best practices, as well as Strada's Point of View.

• Provides direction and mentorship to less experienced colleagues by overseeing work and reviewing deliverables.

• Contributes to internal business initiatives to help build the Strada brand and collateral, including but not limited to internal domain groups, chats, and training.

• Engages in enhancing the Strada brand by participating in Workday ecosystem product groups/chats.

• Holds specialized and advanced skills within Workday Financials module(s).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Math, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field of study.

• At least 3 to 7 years of prior consulting experience in implementing Financial systems such as Workday, SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle E-Business, ADP, Ultipro, or other SaaS software solutions.

• Proven experience in translating business process requirements into system configurations.

• Strong facilitation and presentation skills are essential.

• Ability to be effectively and actively engaged in multiple, parallel projects.

• Demonstrates capability to prioritize conflicting demands and request resources when necessary.

• High attention to detail with a natural inclination to investigate and resolve complex issues while thoroughly testing solutions.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Possesses strong analytical problem-solving and documentation abilities.

• Ability to travel up to 50%.

• Must be currently Workday PATT certified or PRO certified; (Payroll, Absence, or Time Tracking - must have one or all PATT modules to be considered for the role).
