Workday HCM Principal Consultant – Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver consulting services for various client projects with minimal supervision.

• Comprehend client business needs and offer guidance throughout the design, configuration, and prototyping phases, while assisting clients with testing and transitioning to production.

• Provide support to clients during Annual Events, including Talent/Performance reviews, Merit increases, Open Enrollment, ACA compliance, and more, as necessary.

• Collaborate with Engagement Managers to keep them updated on project progress, changes, and other relevant information.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on project goals.

• Maintain accurate forecasts in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with the Sales team and act as a Subject Matter Expert by aiding in sales presentations, demonstrations, and Letters of Engagement.

• Stay informed about industry developments, Workday updates, and be able to provide insights on Workday best practices.

• Establish strong client relationships based on trust and outstanding customer service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required Workday certifications with implementer access include: HCM Core AND at least one of the following: Learning, Benefits, Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Reporting, PEX.

• Must have a proven track record of independently leading at least two Workday Phase 1 implementations and two Workday Phase X implementations.

• Prior experience leading higher education projects in Workday is preferred.

• A minimum of three years of experience as a lead Workday HCM Consultant at a Workday partner organization is mandatory.

• Employment is contingent upon acquiring a Workday Launch certification.

• All necessary Workday Partner certifications must remain active throughout employment with ERPA.

• Experience in troubleshooting, configuring, and navigating Workday HCM is essential.

• Strong organizational abilities are required.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines is necessary.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with a comprehensive understanding of Workday HCM processes and best practices to offer suitable implementation recommendations.

• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team, along with a desire to enjoy the process of creating something new (essential).
