Principal Noise Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide hands-on consulting across a diverse array of projects, including environmental initiatives, data centers, science and biotechnology, construction, commercial enterprises, energy sectors, industrial operations, healthcare, and educational institutions.

• Oversee project management, engage in client communication, lead proposal efforts, perform measurements and modeling, prepare technical documentation, and assist in mentoring as well as internal research and development activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than five years of experience in the field of environmental noise.

• A degree in engineering or science, with coursework or specialization in acoustics and/or vibration, or comparable experience.

• Experience in consulting and project management.

• Knowledge of acoustics or vibration measurement instruments and associated data processing, analysis, and modeling techniques.

• Strong organizational abilities and self-driven motivation.

• Capability to collaborate within teams as well as independently manage multiple simultaneous projects.

• Experience adhering to project budgets and timelines.

• Proven experience in managing project teams and fostering client relationships.

• A passion for the work and a keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with modeling software, such as CadnaA.

• Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork, including evenings and weekends as needed.
