Consultant – Global Advocacy, Financing and Accountability for SRHR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Mapping Political and Multilateral Advocacy Spaces for financing and accountability in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).

• Identify and evaluate significant global, regional, and sub-regional arenas for discussions related to SRHR.

• Chart global, regional, and sub-regional financing agendas pertinent to SRHR.

• Conduct stakeholder and power mapping of key players influencing global dialogue on SRHR financing and accountability.

• Formulate strategic recommendations for advocacy opportunities and coalition-building initiatives.

• Collaborate on the curriculum development for the Feminist Summer School focused on Financing and Accountability for SRHR.

• Oversee the design and implementation of post-session feedback systems and the overall evaluation of the course.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth expertise in SRHR, gender equality, development financing, and/or global health.

• Strong grasp of global and regional political and multilateral processes associated with financing, development, health, gender equality, or economic governance.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting political economy analysis, stakeholder mapping, policy research, or advocacy-focused landscape assessments.

• Comprehensive knowledge of financing discussions relevant to SRHR and social justice, including public financing, development financing, debt, taxation, health financing, social protection, care economies, and accountability frameworks.

• Familiarity with global and regional civil society, feminist, and social justice movements and coalitions.

• Exceptional analytical, research, and writing capabilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously and distill complex political and policy dynamics into actionable recommendations.

• Advanced degree in gender studies, international development, development economics, public policy, global health, health financing, human rights, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in at least one language relevant to the Fòs Feminista Alliance – Spanish, French, or Portuguese, in addition to English.
