Workday Finance Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the main administrator for Workday Financials and provide daily support for the Finance team.

• Identify and resolve configuration issues within Workday Financials across various modules.

• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to collect, document, and convert business requirements into functional design specifications and Workday configuration solutions.

• Assist in implementing enhancements, rolling out new features, and improving processes within Workday Financials.

• Engage in Workday's semi-annual release cycles.

• Ensure that system documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

• Work alongside the broader Enterprise Systems team on cross-functional projects.

• Collaborate with Finance leadership to align with strategic priorities.

• Serve as a liaison between the Finance and IT departments.

• Oversee support tickets and manage project tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of practical experience in Workday Financials configuration and support in a business analyst or functional analyst role.

• Extensive knowledge of one or more Workday Financial Management modules.

• Proven ability to manage daily Finance operations while also contributing to project-based initiatives.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management.

• Experience in gathering business requirements, conducting gap analyses, and drafting functional design documents.

• Solid grasp of fundamental finance and accounting principles (GAAP, month-end close, AP/AR workflows, expense management).

• Highly organized, capable of juggling multiple open requests and projects at once in a fast-paced setting.

• A collaborative approach to solving problems.
