This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Act as the main Workday Financials administrator and the primary support contact for the Finance department.
• Identify and resolve configuration issues within Workday Financials across various modules.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to gather, document, and convert business requirements into functional design specifications and Workday configuration solutions.
• Assist in the implementation of enhancements, new feature launches, and process improvements within Workday Financials.
• Engage in Workday’s bi-annual release cycles.
• Ensure that system documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Work together with the broader Enterprise Systems team on cross-functional projects.
• Partner with Finance leadership to support strategic initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between Finance and IT, guaranteeing that system modifications are executed with the necessary controls.
• Oversee support tickets and project tasks through a structured intake and prioritization process.
• 3-5+ years of practical experience in Workday Financials configuration and support, preferably in a business analyst or functional analyst role.
• Extensive knowledge of one or more Workday Financial Management modules.
• Proven ability to manage daily Finance operations while also contributing to project work and strategic initiatives.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management.
• Experience in conducting business requirements gathering, gap analysis, and writing functional design documents.
• Solid grasp of fundamental finance and accounting principles (GAAP, month-end closing, AP/AR workflows, expense management).
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple open requests and projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.
