Workday Data Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Implement and configure enterprise-level Workday solutions for a global clientele.

• Specialize in comprehending, preparing, and transforming organizational and employee data for customers.

• Establish trusted relationships with clients to identify their data requirements.

• Lead the data workstream encompassing data discovery, mapping, transformation, validation, and load/reconciliation tasks.

• Collaborate closely with functional and technical leads, as well as other stakeholders.

• Support education and advancement in Workday Data Consulting within the Kainos Workday practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Workday HCM or Financials (certification preferred), or with other comparable HCM/ERP systems.

• Workday Prism certification and/or hands-on experience is preferred.

• Knowledge of integrations is highly desirable (e.g., Workday integrations and/or APIs).

• Strong proficiency and experience in data analysis, manipulation, reporting, and formatting.

• Excellent command of Excel (including lookups, pivots, and data quality techniques).

• Experience in data transformation and loading activities (e.g., mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation).

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision, with the ability to identify errors and discrepancies in extensive data sets.

• A broad understanding of business and technology, along with a solid awareness of industry trends.

• Capability to adhere to tight deadlines and make informed decisions under pressure, balancing customer demands with Kainos' commercial interests.

• A commercial understanding of utilization within a services organization and the significance of these targets.

• Ability to rotate across various Workday delivery services, particularly Consulting and Application Management Services.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites within the same region (minimal out-of-region travel may also be necessary).

• Some familiarity and appreciation for diverse data formatting characteristics across jurisdictions and countries to accommodate our global customer base.

• Awareness of pay transparency/pay equity concepts and the significance of accurate reporting and auditability.

• Experience with Workday data tools and data movement methods (e.g., EIB, Workday Studio, reporting extracts) and/or common ETL tooling.
