Workday Analyst, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as the initial technical contact for Finance Workday and Adaptive Planning requests submitted through the Foundation’s service management system.

• Provide support to Finance personnel through training, process documentation, and user manuals.

• Oversee the maintenance and auditing of Workday worktag values and data mapping.

• Ensure the integrity of data on the Adaptive Planning platform.

• Assist in testing for Workday’s biannual releases and configuration updates.

• Facilitate discovery sessions and collaborate with external consultants.

• Offer support for financial systems across back-office functions and program partners, adopting a consultative, service-oriented approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a resident of California.

• Proficient in Workday Financials, including the Foundation Data Model, security protocols, custom reporting, and financial modules (Spend, Customer Accounts, Financial Accounting, Projects).

• Familiarity with finance operations, financial data management and reporting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Preferred experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or a similar planning platform.

• Comfortable handling large data sets in Excel and performing EIB loads with precision.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools to enhance analysis, documentation, and data tasks, exercising good judgment regarding the responsible handling of sensitive financial information.
