This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the financial operations of a rapidly expanding startup.

• Manage budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and payroll functions.

• Support hiring, employee benefits, and human resources initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with the fund accounting and finance team.

• Generate financial reports for the leadership team and Board of Directors.

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and reporting requirements.

• Implement accounting and various finance software systems.

• Administer the capitalization table.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, including accounting, FP&A, and systems.

• Proven experience in a fast-paced, scaling fintech environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A successful history of collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in financial modeling and projections.

• High proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Familiarity with modern finance tools and technologies.

• Understanding of accounting intricacies related to startup investments.

• A proactive mindset to identify and address opportunities and challenges.

• Capability to devise and utilize logical solutions for complex issues.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Interest in and experience within the venture capital sector is a plus.
