Workday AMS Adaptive Planning Consultant

📋 Description

• Collaborate within a team or work autonomously to assist clients in transforming their post-production business planning needs utilizing Adaptive Planning Business Planning Cloud.

• Provide support for Workday Adaptive Planning implementations for clients across various industries and organizational sizes.

• Maintain expertise and certification in the Adaptive Planning solution suite.

• Engage in all stages of Adaptive Planning implementation projects.

• Analyze clients' existing planning processes and transition legacy models into Adaptive Planning.

• Suggest solutions based on client specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.

• Lead clients through design sessions and configuration decisions by applying best practices.

• Create and configure forecasting and planning models within Adaptive Planning.

• Assist in organizing and delivering user training sessions.

• Document the planning models and reports provided to clients.

• Ensure that engagements are completed punctually and within budget.

• Maintain regular communication with clients, set expectations, offer customer service, and act as the primary resource for project inquiries.

• Share insights and solutions with team members.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in financial and/or management accounting, specifically in budgeting, planning, and management reporting.

• Familiarity with designing and developing intricate financial planning models.

• Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.

• Experience with at least one Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system, such as Adaptive Planning, Host Analytics, Anaplan, or Oracle Hyperion.

• Excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues, including in remote work settings.

• Capable of delivering formal presentations to senior client groups.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within teams and with clients.

• Competent in executing individual tasks with minimal oversight.

• Skilled in managing time efficiently and accurately recording it.

• Able to meet tight deadlines and make logical decisions under pressure.

• Strong consulting abilities, including presenting, leading workshops, and explaining complex functionalities or solutions.

• Willingness to travel to customer locations within the same region; occasional out-of-region travel may be required.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is desirable.

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or part-qualified accountant with significant industry experience is a plus.

• Previous consulting experience is advantageous.
