Workday Adaptive Planning Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the end-to-end implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning, encompassing requirements gathering, design, construction, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment.

• Create and develop Sheets, Modeled Sheets, Dashboards, Office Connect reports, and Discovery Boards.

• Set up security roles, permissions, version controls, and level hierarchies.

• Develop and sustain formulas, cube-level calculations, and reporting frameworks for budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning.

• Collaborate with FP&A, HR, and business stakeholders to convert planning needs into scalable Adaptive models.

• Execute UAT, perform data validation, and troubleshoot issues during implementation phases.

• Offer post-implementation support, enhancements, and training for end-users.

• Record solution designs, configuration details, and testing scripts.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in implementing Workday Adaptive Planning (previously known as Adaptive Insights).

• In-depth knowledge of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and reporting.

• Practical experience with Sheets, Modeled Sheets, Levels, Versions, Formulas, Dashboards, and Office Connect.

• Familiarity with Adaptive Integrator, APIs, and flat-file integrations between Adaptive Planning and Workday HCM/Financials or other ERP/HRIS systems.

• Strong understanding of functional and data-level security configurations.

• Prior involvement in a minimum of 2–3 full-cycle implementations is preferred.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

• Workday Adaptive Planning certification is required.
