This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of the curriculum framework by performing job and task analyses, establishing performance-based learning objectives, and creating scalable course structures.
• Convert complex technical systems into organized learning pathways across various formats, including classroom, self-paced, simulation, and immersive training environments.
• Develop assessments, practical evaluations, and certification and qualification standards that measure operational capabilities.
• Collaborate with Learning Experience Developers to define and storyboard instructional media.
• Equip instructors with facilitator guides, lesson plans, train-the-trainer materials, and delivery standards.
• Enhance the instructional application of Skydio Paraverse within pilot and technician training programs.
• Create scenario-based learning experiences utilizing simulation, AR/VR, and interactive visualization techniques.
• Implement AI-assisted workflows to expedite curriculum development, content upkeep, and localization efforts.
• Set curriculum standards, templates, and revision processes, while ensuring content remains current as products evolve.
• Establish and monitor learning effectiveness metrics, refining the curriculum based on data insights.
• Contribute to the development of the roadmap for future learning technologies and curriculum strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Adult Education, or equivalent experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in designing and developing curriculum for educational, instructional, or technical training programs.
• Proficiency in instructional systems design, including task analysis, objective formulation, assessment design, and evaluation methodologies.
• Experience in developing curriculum for intricate technical products or specialized subject areas.
• Solid understanding of adult learning principles and performance-based training methodologies.
• A robust portfolio showcasing curriculum artifacts such as course maps, lesson plans, facilitator guides, and assessment tools.
• Proven experience collaborating with engineers, media producers, instructors, and technical subject matter experts.
• Exceptional communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred: experience in aviation, aerospace, robotics, defense, industrial equipment, autonomous systems, or similarly technical fields.
• Preferred: background in regulated or certification-driven settings, including FAA Part 107, Part 91, or military qualification and training standards.
• Preferred: familiarity with scenario-based or simulator-based learning approaches.
• Preferred: knowledge of XR, simulation, digital twins, LMS administration, SCORM, xAPI, cmi5, AI-assisted instructional design, geospatial visualization, and train-the-trainer programs.
