This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites.
• Develop bespoke WordPress themes and plugins tailored to business needs.
• Transform designs from Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD into responsive WordPress sites.
• Modify existing themes while adhering to WordPress coding standards.
• Guarantee that websites are mobile-friendly, SEO-optimized, secure, and fast.
• Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, payment gateways, and marketing solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance challenges.
• Apply website security best practices and conduct regular updates.
• Enhance Core Web Vitals and boost overall website performance.
• Work collaboratively with designers, marketers, and project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Oversee website backups, migrations, staging environments, and deployments.
• Keep website documentation and version control updated.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Strong grasp of WordPress hooks, filters, REST API, and Gutenberg editor.
• Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types (CPT), and custom taxonomies.
• Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or similar page builders.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce customization.
• Understanding of Git version control systems.
• Experience in website performance optimization and caching techniques.
• Knowledge of website security measures and WordPress best practices.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
