This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend and enhance requirements, design, and functionality for WordPress projects.

• Develop and execute new features from start to finish.

• Create and build custom WordPress themes and plugins.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.

• Monitor and enhance SEO performance.

• Conduct website performance evaluations and implement optimization strategies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve content and technical issues.

• Operate in an agile environment alongside the team on top-tier software products.

• Tackle real-world challenges affecting users' health and well-being.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of engineering experience concentrated on the WordPress ecosystem.

• Proficient in PHP and MySQL.

• Strong capability to write clear, testable, and efficient WordPress code.

• Experience in developing custom themes and plugins.

• Demonstrated work experience as a WordPress developer.

• Familiarity with code versioning tools.

• Strong understanding of website architecture, aesthetics, and user experience.

• Ability to manage and deliver projects efficiently.

• Excellent proficiency in English communication skills.

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations (preferred).

• Knowledge of CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5 (preferred).
