Senior Deltek Costpoint Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance applications along with COGNOS/BI that support business operations within Deltek Costpoint.

• Provide continuous operational support for Deltek Costpoint and COGNOS/BI.

• Drive the strategic development of business intelligence tools aimed at facilitating data-driven decisions and evaluating performance.

• Diagnose application issues and deliver customized solutions to end users.

• Code, test, debug, modify, and troubleshoot BI tools.

• Define, analyze, and document business processes and practices.

• Collaborate with business partners to translate business rules and requirements into BI and application solutions.

• Implement best practices for Deltek Costpoint applications.

• Consult across business operations, provide mentorship, and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Research and design assessments within assigned application areas.

• Analyze issues, gather information, and propose solutions.

• Develop applications and extensions based on business and analyst specifications.

• Author technical and end-user documentation along with support instructions.

• Communicate the status of work items to project managers and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with business analysts to provide estimates for workloads.

• Deliver data dimensions and training for hypothetical analysis.

• Generate reports, data analytics, and dashboards.

• Create solutions that identify data trends while predicting and forecasting opportunities.

• Provide support and training to team members.

• Establish standards, development methodologies, and processes.

• Lead medium to large-scale reporting projects.

• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, accounting, or a related field.

• 8 years of experience in COGNOS/BI development, or a comparable mix of education and experience.

• Advanced expertise in Deltek Costpoint applications and BI tools within Costpoint.

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft SQL.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills for engaging with internal and external customers and team members.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Advanced written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Must successfully pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
