Application Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate objectives and design specifications to fulfill user requirements

• Create block diagrams and logical flowcharts

• Convert detailed designs into computer software

• Design, code, test, debug, and enhance software solutions

• Generate program-level and user-level documentation

• Improve software to decrease operating time and boost efficiency

• Offer technical guidance to programmers as necessary to meet project deadlines

• Develop or adjust procedures to address complex issues while considering equipment capacity, limitations, operating time, and desired outcomes

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree

• At least 6 years of experience directly related to the responsibilities and duties

• Experience working as an application programmer on a large-scale program or system

• Familiarity with computer hardware

• Capability to develop intricate software to meet design objectives

• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority

• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II

• Secret Security Clearance required before submitting the application
