Women's Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Provide individual tele-therapy sessions to patients who request regular appointments through FamilyWell’s virtual platform.

• Carry out one-on-one psychological intakes for patients referred to the FamilyWell program, collecting thorough assessments to guide treatment planning.

• Document patient progress in detail, sharing treatment recommendations with medical providers, psychiatric consultants, and other healthcare professionals as necessary. Facilitate modifications to treatment plans for patients requiring more intensive or specialized mental health care, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.

• Create and present Care Plans after sessions, providing patients with actionable insights and follow-up steps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed mental health provider with an active license in Kentucky. All applicants must be capable of practicing independently without supervision.

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)

• Formal training in perinatal/peri/menopause mental health or at least 1 year of clinical experience working with pregnant, postpartum, or peri/menopause patients is highly preferred.

• Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International is recommended but not mandatory.

• Proof of certification in the treatment of the Peri/Menopause population is recommended but not required.
