This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• This role spearheads and executes the technical development necessary for functional activities aimed at maintaining and enhancing Kenco’s Warehouse Management Systems.
• The individual in this position will serve as the technical subject matter expert on the WMS system, overseeing the complete solution development throughout the 3PL project lifecycle.
• This role involves translating business requirement documents by designing and developing the technical facets of the system.
• The position will provide support to both the existing and new client bases as assigned.
• Effectively communicate the capabilities and possibilities of solutions while assessing business needs amidst integration complexities and architectural constraints.
• Offer primary user support, ensuring that the system fulfills the necessary business functions and preserves data integrity.
• Lead the business process analysis or design and construction phases of the project, contributing to the writing of functional specifications.
• Establish and define the application scope and objectives, and devise or modify procedures to address intricate business challenges.
• Create functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports, and screens that align with customers' business objectives and feature sound design.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience working with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Familiarity with underlying WMS technologies, which may include C#, Java, HTML, Groovy, Jasper, and/or other technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, vendors, users, customers, and peers.
• Capable of logically presenting issues and potential enhancements.
• Working knowledge and experience with EDI, including X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, or other formats.
• Advanced skills in SQL.
• Experience in the Warehousing or Logistics Industry.
• Familiarity with formal project management practices.
• Knowledge of formal systems development methodologies and best practices in SDLC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of completing work independently with general guidance on tasks.
