This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee wireless services, including the implementation, management, and troubleshooting of enterprise wireless solutions.
• Conduct wireless surveys and maintain thorough documentation for deployed systems.
• Continuously assess wireless networks to ensure optimal performance.
• Design, integrate, test, install, and provide support for wireless network infrastructure.
• Execute hardware and software upgrades as necessary.
• Create and uphold documentation for network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with business units, internal customers, and client support technicians to deliver wireless communication solutions.
• Research, design, plan, and implement both physical and logical wireless communication networks.
• Carry out capacity planning for internal and external wireless connections.
• Proactively monitor and resolve network issues using network management software, help desk tickets, and, if needed, onsite visits that may require travel.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
• University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years in the field, or an Advanced Degree coupled with at least 5 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory; only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information related to this program/contract.
• Proven expertise in deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining highly available Aruba wireless infrastructure in large-scale, multisite, international settings.
• Experience with Wireless LAN Controllers and guest wireless solutions.
• Familiarity with wireless analysis tools such as Ekahau Survey Pro, AirMagnet Surveyor, MetaGeek Channelyzer, packet analyzers, and Cisco Prime Infrastructure.
• Solid understanding and recent experience with Wi-Fi/802.11 RF standards, RF parameters, and signal flows.
• Experience conducting wireless site surveys, including Data, Voice, and Location-Based Services RF survey designs.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, wireless protocols, DNS, and DHCP services.
• Availability for on-call support outside of regular working hours.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, conceptual, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Expert-level experience with Aruba wireless technology.
• Experience with Aruba Central/Central-On-Prem, Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ACS, or ISE is advantageous.
• Certifications such as ACDP, ACMP, MCP, CCNA, CWNA, CCNP, CCNP-Wireless, or CWNP are considered a plus.
