Associate Wireless Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and implementation of wireless networks within Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, large public venues, and Corporate Offices.

• Facilitate wireless assessments and predictive designs utilizing Ekahau AI Pro tools.

• Collaborate with clients to establish project success criteria that align with business goals.

• Engage in discovery meetings, whiteboarding sessions, and comprehensive design discussions.

• Work alongside project teams to document technical solutions and contribute to project outputs.

• Provide technical troubleshooting and support for challenges related to wireless networking.

• Operate both independently and as part of a team, adjusting to project requirements.

• Travel to local and national client sites as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, including military service.

• 1–2 years of experience, which may include military service or relevant internships/training in wireless networking or IT infrastructure.

• Basic understanding of Wi-Fi principles, RF behavior, and wireless security protocols, such as WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, and EAP methods.

• Familiarity with Ekahau AI Pro or similar wireless planning tools is preferred.

• Knowledge of Cisco, Meraki, HPE Aruba, or Mist wireless platforms.

• Foundational understanding of LAN/WAN networking, VLANs, DHCP, and DNS.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; client-friendly and team-oriented.

• CWNA certification is preferred, or a willingness to pursue it.

• Ability to learn rapidly and adapt in a fast-paced consulting environment.

• Must be a US Citizen.
