This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, validate, troubleshoot, and enhance enterprise wireless environments within customer settings.
• Conduct predictive, passive, active, and validation wireless surveys along with RF analysis.
• Support WLAN assessments, wireless design, troubleshooting, and optimization efforts.
• Evaluate wireless coverage, capacity, interference, channel usage, and other RF performance metrics.
• Stage, configure, install, and validate wireless access points, controllers, switches, and associated infrastructure.
• Assist in wireless migrations, refreshes, expansions, and modernization initiatives.
• Help with WLAN security, authentication, roaming, and connectivity configuration tasks.
• Diagnose wireless connectivity, coverage, capacity, roaming, interference, and performance challenges.
• Utilize RF analysis and diagnostic tools to pinpoint root causes and suggest solutions.
• Generate survey reports, design documentation, implementation notes, and as-built deliverables.
• Engage in customer discovery meetings, technical discussions, project reviews, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Relay project status, technical insights, and potential risks to project teams.
• Collaborate with Senior Wireless Engineers, Technical Project Leads, Project Managers, Delivery Operations, and vendor support teams.
• Contribute reusable documentation, templates, technical standards, lessons learned, and knowledge sharing to the Enterprise Mobility practice.
• Remain updated on Wi-Fi standards, wireless technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
• Travel to customer sites for surveys, deployments, and other project activities, including occasional after-hours maintenance windows.
• 3–5 years of experience in enterprise wireless networking, WLAN engineering, network engineering, wireless consulting, or a related field.
• Practical experience with Ekahau Pro and Ekahau Sidekick for predictive design and on-site wireless surveys.
• Solid understanding of RF fundamentals and IEEE 802.11 wireless networking technologies.
• Knowledge of WLAN security, authentication, roaming, interference, capacity, and troubleshooting concepts.
• Familiarity with one or more enterprise wireless platforms such as Ruckus, Aruba, Cisco, Juniper Mist, Meraki, Ubiquiti, Extreme, or similar technologies.
• Experience staging, configuring, deploying, or troubleshooting enterprise wireless infrastructure.
• Strong skills in technical documentation and reporting.
• Excellent written, verbal, and customer-facing communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations for surveys and deployments.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must reside in the United States.
