Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, and manage firewall systems utilizing Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies.

• Lead the configuration and enhancement of switching environments across Cisco, Fortinet, and Meraki devices.

• Supervise network integrations within OCI, AWS, GCP, and Azure to ensure seamless multi-cloud connectivity.

• Manage external network connections using Megaport for dependable private cloud and internet access.

• Proactively identify and resolve network issues.

• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to maintain continuous operational uptime.

• Develop infrastructure that supports Crunchtime’s global restaurant operations and partnerships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ability to design, maintain, and scale highly available network infrastructure in enterprise settings.

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a network engineer.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional training.

• Capability to swiftly master new technologies and break down complex problems into actionable solutions.

• Skill in managing multiple tasks and delivering consistent outcomes in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail and organized project management methodology.

• Ability to sit, type, and work extensively at a computer for prolonged periods.

• Proficiency in listening and speaking over the phone or during Zoom calls.

• High level of mental focus and concentration.

• Relevant networking certifications such as CCNP or PCNSE are preferred.

• Current cloud-provider certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking or Azure Network Engineer Associate are a plus.
