Windows Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute all responsibilities related to maintaining a Windows Server environment efficiently.

• Oversee daily technical operations and resolve service requests.

• Identify and address issues that hinder application service delivery.

• Gather or communicate technical requirements to and from non-technical stakeholders.

• Provide support and assistance to both technical and non-technical internal users.

• Responsible for the successful execution of assigned tasks.

• Investigate and report on contemporary technologies and systems as needed.

• Capable of documenting changes and creating handover documents.

• Act as an escalation point for complex helpdesk support challenges.

• Conduct monitoring and preventative maintenance on servers.

• Assist fellow team members with any challenges they face to enhance overall team performance.

• Proactively work to foster a positive team environment, aiming to boost overall morale and individual job satisfaction.

• When necessary, engage and collaborate with other teams to support the overall company culture.

• Maintain daily communication with other teams to ensure all members are well-informed about the work of their colleagues.

• Keep supervisors updated on any issues that may arise.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 1-3 years of experience in a related role.

• Preference will be given to candidates with MCSE, MCSA, or other Azure-related Microsoft certifications.

• Knowledge and experience with Windows 2016/2019, Active Directory, System Center Configuration Manager, and System Center Operations Manager (optional).

• Experience with Office 365/Intune.

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.

• Strong understanding of network design and security.

• Proven excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.

• Capacity to maintain focus to ensure tickets are completed accurately and promptly.

• Skill in prioritizing and multitasking.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• High level of awareness regarding Information Security.
