This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Install, configure, and oversee Epic Hyperspace, Epic-specific printing services, Interconnect, and associated client system components.
• Monitor and sustain the performance, availability, and security of Epic applications.
• Provide support for Citrix, VMware, or other virtual delivery platforms used for Epic access.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Epic client applications, user access, and environmental stability.
• Collaborate with technical teams, application analysts, and vendors to facilitate upgrades, patches, and new releases.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and configuration records.
• Manage and oversee Epic print services, including the deployment and troubleshooting of printers within Epic.
• Engage in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Offer on-call support as necessary for production issues.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, industry standards, and security requirements.
• Epic Client Systems Administrator certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in supporting Epic client applications and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience with Citrix, VMware, or comparable virtualization technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for application and system performance challenges.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and load balancing.
• Preferred Skills
• Experience with healthcare IT systems and workflows.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.).
• Previous experience in large enterprise environments with 24/7 clinical operations.
