Windchill Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of PTC Windchill PDMLink and its related modules.

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Windchill environments to ensure peak performance and dependability.

• Monitor system performance, address issues, and implement solutions to enhance stability and efficiency.

• Design, test, and deploy PLM solutions following industry best practices.

• Assist with data migrations, transitions from legacy systems, and initiatives for system transformation.

• Create and maintain workflows, lifecycle states, policies, and system configurations.

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, understand business processes, and deliver effective technical solutions.

• Support working groups, technical meetings, and customer engagement initiatives.

• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure long-term sustainability.

• Train and mentor users to enhance adoption and effective use of Windchill.

• Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate system integration and future capability enhancements.

• Perform other assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship for employment visa status, both now and in the future.

• 3+ years of experience in administering and supporting PTC Windchill PLM environments.

• Proficiency in installing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading Windchill systems.

• Experience with multi-organization Windchill environments.

• Strong understanding of Windchill Business Administration, Policy Administration, Lifecycles, Workflows, OIRs, and Container configuration.

• Experience in supporting production Windchill environments and managing system changes.

• Familiarity with Windchill architecture, deployments, and optimization of system performance.

• Experience in supporting data migrations and transitions from legacy systems.

• Proven experience working directly with clients in a technical or consulting role.

• Experience with Windchill 12.x and/or 13.x environments.

• Knowledge of clustered and monolithic system architectures.

• Experience in configuring vaulting and replication environments.

• Understanding of Windchill CAD worker configuration and deployment.
