This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the delivery of the most essential surface transportation initiatives in California's Central Coast.
• Emphasize impact assessments for biological and aquatic resources.
• Engage in technical writing, including desktop reports and evaluations.
• Supervise biological compliance monitoring during ongoing construction activities.
• Perform surveys for special-status wildlife and nesting avian species.
• Create technical documentation to record findings from surveys and monitoring efforts.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with AECOM, clients, and construction teams.
• Organize project documentation and monitor project timelines.
• A Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, or a related field in environmental science.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or proven equivalency in experience and/or education related to biological surveys and monitoring in California.
• A valid U.S. Driver License is necessary for this role.
• Independent travel will be required.
