This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field, drive sales performance, and effectively manage the assigned territory along with targeted accounts.
• Establish robust customer relationships and enhance problem-solving capabilities to optimize both short-term and long-term sales outcomes.
• Achieve sales targets, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives to meet or surpass expectations.
• Develop pre-call planning objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to facilitate continuous improvement in sales effectiveness.
• Create and execute a call plan that meets established call metrics while optimizing coverage and frequency with key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned healthcare providers and identify, nurture, and maintain relationships with disease state experts and speakers/advocates to enhance brand performance.
• A Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• Relevant and equivalent industry experience in place of a bachelor's degree must include at least five (5) years of experience, with three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• Exhibits comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, and is acknowledged as an expert resource by all pertinent stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency in using business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Proven success in sales with excellent presentation capabilities.
