Wholesale Broker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with leadership to establish quarterly revenue and agency appointment objectives, taking full ownership of their success.

• Connect with retail brokers to introduce them to Novella, fostering long-term relationships that enhance Novella’s submission pipeline.

• Utilize Novella’s system to assist retail brokers in finding coverage by submitting quotes to carriers and overseeing the entire process from submission to binding.

• Negotiate competitive quotes with various markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing broker relationships at a national or regional level within the wholesale E&S market.

• An active P&C and surplus lines license (preferably nationwide, although not mandatory).

• Comprehensive understanding of commercial E&S markets and coverages, particularly in commercial property and general liability.

• A flexible individual who recognizes that each day at an early-stage startup is equivalent to a decade in a corporate environment.
