This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Execute installations, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance services on all Curiox systems.
• Offer support to FAS and FSE members globally by promptly addressing their requests and providing on-site assistance (US, EMEAI, APAC) as necessary.
• Collaborate with FAS, FSE, and Sales teams worldwide to ensure the ticketing system is current and accurately reflects customer information in HubSpot.
• Analyze and repair defective instruments returned from the field, and generate failure analysis reports.
• Repair, validate, and maintain a fleet of standby (“loaner”) systems to guarantee consistent operational readiness and swift deployment.
• Deliver outstanding customer support by offering training and technical assistance for installed instruments.
• Document and report all repairs, product failures, and other field service paperwork in HubSpot through the ticketing system.
• Manage and update service forms (PMs, IOQs, etc.) to keep pace with product changes as they arise.
• Provide feedback on design changes in collaboration with R&D, Operations, and Production.
• Identify Field Service opportunities for potential future business and communicate this to the FSE manager, Sales Team, and field operations.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• At least 1 year of experience in working with, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems involving fluidics and electronics.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with integrated robotic systems, robotic arms/plate handlers, and automation workflow software.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory or scientific environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of tools and techniques for anticipating, identifying, and resolving technical issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Capability to tackle challenging problems in a fast-paced work environment.
• Self-motivated and directed, with a strong attention to detail, work ethic, and initiative.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to achieve individual and team objectives.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment, including flexibility in schedule and roles.
• Proven organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Technical expertise in instrumentation and electronics.
• Proficiency in effective communication with employees across the globe.
• Travel up to approximately 75%, including overnight and international travel.
