Field Service Engineer – FIELD REMOTE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional customer support through on-site installation services.

• Supervise necessary diagnostics, troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of intricate equipment and systems.

• Educate customers on the operation and upkeep of systems.

• Act as the company's representative with clients regarding both administrative and technical issues.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their analytical workflows and customize service offerings accordingly.

• Improve account profitability through effective service delivery.

• Manage assigned assets, including tools, telecommunications equipment, and inventory of service parts.

• Fulfill all administrative responsibilities, including time reporting and designated training.

• Uphold training and compliance in health and safety, security, and operational aspects of daily tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with military experience plus 3 years of direct laboratory equipment repair experience, OR an Associate Degree in a similar discipline with military experience plus 5 years of direct laboratory equipment repair experience, OR a High School Diploma with over 7 years of direct laboratory equipment repair experience.

• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, showcasing the ability to convey information clearly and accurately.

• Strong technical critical thinking skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent customer service abilities, along with a capacity to listen to and interpret client requests.

• Basic understanding of analytical equipment, laboratory environments, and/or instrument control software.

• Certification from vendors for relevant laboratory equipment.

• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols as defined by the Company and/or the customer's safety regulations.

• Willingness to travel by air, vehicle, and/or other means of transportation as required by the business.

• A valid driver's license and safe driving record.
