This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Ensure overall customer satisfaction.

• Diagnose system issues and perform necessary repairs.

• Keep customers informed about progress during maintenance or system downtime.

• Complete machine installations, manage Engineering Change Notices that impact system upgrades, and perform Hardware/Software upgrades that may require technical assistance.

• Undertake any other job responsibilities as assigned within the scope of the position. ⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or have completed professional studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or possess equivalent work experience.

• Certifications in related fields such as mechanics, electronics, automation, or data processing are preferred.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Proficient in using personal computers, particularly Microsoft Office, navigating network sites, and email communication.

• Logical troubleshooting skills with the ability to isolate problems at the PCB or component level.

• Capability to effectively work with electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

• Knowledge of AC/DC power distribution and digital/analog circuitry.

• Experience in repairing high-speed paper handling machines, such as check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters; experience with ATMs or copiers is preferred.

• 3-5 years of preferred technical field service repair experience, such as in aviation, medical equipment, vending machine repair, or military repair.

• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

• While some computer knowledge is necessary, this role is primarily focused on electro-mechanical repair.

• A company van will be provided, and you will travel from your home to customer sites, so living within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned territory is essential.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.

• Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods, as well as frequently kneel, bend, squat, sit, and twist.

• Must be available to work at all customer sites as required, including financial institutions, casinos (gaming licensing may be required post-hire), truck stops, recreational parks, retail stores, etc.

• Ability to work weekends and/or holidays on a rotational basis to meet business needs.

• Must be available for an on-call rotation, typically once every 3 to 5 weeks, including evenings and weekends; 24/7 availability may be required on rare occasions.

• Must be able to drive to customer sites during working hours.

• Occasional travel outside the assigned territory, including air and overnight travel, may be necessary.

• Ability to accommodate limited accessibility at job sites.

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
